An example of truth in advertising at its finest, “Raptor Resort” has you defending yourself from raptors… in a vacation resort. The game isn’t deep, doesn’t have any protestations about being so, and frankly doesn’t need to be. What it is, though, is fun.
It’s a blast ripping around the attractive isometric 3D playfield and shooting velociraptors. And it’s more than just run and gun, there are vehicles to hop in, and (local) multiplayer modes to explore for up to four players. There isn’t a tonne more but, really, does there need to be? Some guilty pleasures simply don’t need justification.
Here’s what the developer (DennisMac) has to say about the game:
“Defend yourself from the escaped prehistoric park attractions.”
