Back nearly 400 days ago, I reviewed “Classicard”, an unmissable collection of card games. They’re all multiplayer focused ones, though the game has AI, with tremendous options. If you don’t have it, go buy it now, we’ll wait here.
That brings us to today. “4-in-1 Cardgame Collection” is a different beast, as it’s entirely solitaire. Four versions, in fact.
The variants on offer are foundation, calculation, super demon, and demon. The presentation is pretty amusing, with dramatic/scary music and grim-reaper-ish graphics to go with it. Why buy solitaire for your Xbox when you already have it on your computer? Well, it’s kind of nice to play it while flaked out on the couch and, if you’re like me, you don’t always have access to the main computer in the household. Or you just may not want to fire up the computer/laptop to play solitaire, when you’re already at the Xbox. Or you might find some kitschy value in the overly dramatic presentation. Whatever your reason, it’s only 80 Microsoft Points if you decide to take the plunge.
Here’s what the developer (ReaperGamingStudios) has to say about the game:
“Welcome to 4-in-1 Card-game Collection, brought to you by Reaper Gaming Studios. This package contains 4 variants of single-player solitaire, each challenging and addictive in it’s own way. Featuring demon, super demon, calculation, and one foundation, and fun for all! Also features global scoreboards and unlockable awardments.”
