This is the forced-running game that those who hate the genre have been waiting for: a forced-scrolling platformer merged with Karateka. “Kung Fu FIGHT!” also does a lot of things that games like this normally don’t, including a story mode, destructible environmental elements, Pitall!-style chandelier swinging, and more. It also has a lot of the things you’d expect such as an endless mode, appropriately retro music, an 80 Microsoft Point price tag, and more. The game doesn’t take itself too seriously, with an art style and storyline that’s as chop-socky as you get.
Here’s what the developer (Nostatic Software) has to say about the game:
“Fight the bad guys, save the girl – you know the drill!”
