The original Flight Adventure was a competent flight sim, an app more than a game, that reveled in the joy of flight. “Flight Adventure 2” takes things to the next level by turning it into an actual game (it has racing elements both solo and against a human opponent over Xbox Live). The free form modes are still there, with a graphical upgrade and a very solid flight model. You may also be interested in the fact that it’s actually a licenced product, with the P-51 Mustang having actually been licenced from Boeing. An easy recommendation for flight sim fans for 240 Microsoft Points.
If you’re no flight sim fans, then you might enjoy the six race tracks spread around the game’s well-modeled island, and the fact that you can race against ghost planes in addition to Live races. All in all, an impressively presented product.
Here’s what the developer (CAVOK Games) has to say about the game:
“Experience the legendary P-51 Mustang™. Unlimited free flight. Six race tracks. Race against yourself using the racing ghost option or test your flying skills in an online multiplayer session with a friend. Produced under license from Boeing Management Company. P-51 Mustang and Boeing are among the trademarks owned by Boeing.”
