Remember “Bureau – Agent Kendall” back from Day 539? It was an imperfect game, but one that managed to be worth its 240 Microsoft Points. It’s spawned a sequel, “Bureau – Shattered Slipper”, which shares all the same pluses (good presentation, a decent story) with all the same minuses (at times the game seems just an excuse to look at (admittedly well-rendered) 3D models of Kendall in her underwear. I personally think the game would be better without that, but different strokes and all that.
If you are willing to look past the oversexualised elements, there is a game here. Gameplay is similar to the original game, a mix of puzzle solving, quick-time-events, and more. The puzzles are not generally very hard, but the story linking them all together is generally decent and amusing at times. If you hated the original, then move along; if you enjoyed the original, then you’ll likely enjoy this too.
