From the developer of “Racedrome Offroad” and “Concept Car Series 2010”, comes “Racedrome City”.
This is the nicest-looking game in the Racedrome series yet. It takes an arcadey approach, not that of a simulator, and there’s a market for that. It supports system link and online play for up to 8 players, too, and if you have some people on your friends list who you can talk into getting it and creating games together then it’s a no-brainer. I say that because racing against real people is always more fun than against AI opponents, though those are here for those who want them.
For 80 Microsoft Point, with customisable control sensitivity (why don’t all games have this?!), it’s worth a download for someone with a yen for open-wheeled racing.
Here’s what the developer (Juan Alberto Munoz) has to say about the game:
“The latest chapter in the Racedrome saga raises the bar with improved handling, physics, and visuals. Enjoy high-speed urban racing against strong AI, or challenge up to 8 players online. Also included is local multiplayer, global scoreboards, rewind function, and more!”
