A pseudo-simulator of what the most expensive LCD handheld on the market might have played like in the ’80s, a pseudo-sequel to “Torque Quest”, and much more… “Ajare&Watch” is full of humour, and references to things as modern as Mass Effect, and as old school as the Atari Lynx (and even older).
The game actually poses an interesting idea: what if, back in the day, they had incorporated sophisticated gaming tropes into LCD games. This simulation of a (non-existant) classic LCD game has RPG-style leveling, for example!
It’s a crazy experiment that somehow all works, and costs 80 Microsoft Points.
Here’s what the developer (varga) has to say about the game:
“Play Ajare & Watch, the most powerful and expensive LCD Game on the market… $50,000. Multi Screen x10, RPG and ninjas.”
