Let’s get this out of the way first: this is not a pure tower defence game, it’s half tower defence and half action. That’s good or bad, depending on your opinion. “UBERZOMBIE USA” borrows more from Microsoft’s “Toy Soldiers” than it does from “Plants Vs. Zombies”. As far as I’m concerned, that’s a good thing. But, it’s also got innovation on its side. It has local co-op for up to 4 players, and that’s pretty sweet if you ask me. Think of it like “Smash TV” with the ability to deploy and customise turrets as well. And what’s not awesome about that? It’s $2.99 (or whatever that approximately equates to in your local currency) and worth every penny, IMO.
Here’s what the developer (superameise) has to say about the game:
“UBERZOMBIE USA is a Tower Defense Action-Strategy Game where you must protect your house every night from hordes of zombies! Choose your hero from ten different characters, every character has a unique special attack to punish the waves of enemies. During the day phase you can build landmines, fences, fortifications, plants, baits and more to support you in the action-packed combat!”
