Feeling like you want to relax? Then don’t go see the new movie “Gravity”, as it’s not even remotely relaxing, play “Nuage” instead.
It comes to us from the people behind the excellent “Pulse: Fight the Night”, but there’s no fighting going on here. “Nuage” is a relax-’em-up, like Fl0w and other indie titles with that reputation. The game tasks you with leading a group of clouds, trying to collect rain drops to prolong rainstorms, all the better to produce more impressive natural environments.
And that’s… about it. But it’s cool. I don’t do drugs, but those who do tell me that this kind of experience is popular with people who do certain kinds of them. I can’t vouch for that, as when I say I don’t do drugs, I mean I *really* don’t do drugs, right down to not drinking alcohol or coffee… and no, it’s not a religious choice either, I can’t tell you how tired I am of telling people that it’s a personal choice rather than a spiritual one. :P This is the kind of game for you to zone out to, whether sober or otherwise, and it’s an enjoyable experience for when you’re looking for a pick-up-and-play experience like that. Only $1.
Here’s what the developer (Six String Games) has to say about the game:
“Enter a state of calm relaxation with Nuage, a no stress game where you collect clouds and rain drops to rain on the environment and bring it to life, all while listening to the well known unsigned relaxation musician, Paul Collier. Play with headphones for an even better experience.”
