Remember “Overdriven”? Loved that game. The same developer has unleashed “Jimmy Vs Zombies”, a game that blends classic “Metal Slug”-style shooting action with mild (and I do mean mild) defence elements, where you fight along seniors in wheelchairs.
In addition to the tower defence levels, and the two-player co-op (which you’ve probably seen before), it also has a two-player competitive mode (which you may not have seen before).
A wide selection of power-ups and weapon upgrades are there, vehicle levels are there, two player co-op is there, the game looks good, the controls are tight, and it all costs a dollar. How can you go wrong?
Here’s what the developer (CuchuGames) has to say about the game:
“Take Jimmy and burst zombies with your lazer gun, your fire gun, your plasma gun or your bazooka ! Roll on them with you car ! Put turrets and landmines to blast them and to protect your granny ! This Retro 2D game mixes Run & Gun, Tower Defence and Waves shooter. Playable solo, Co-op (local), and also versus (local) (Asymetric gaemplay) !”
