With 50 handcrafted levels, and unlimited procedurally-generated levels, “Micromazes” promises a lot of gameplay. But what about the gameplay? It’s team-oriented puzzle gameplay (though there is solo play as well). Multiplayer offers both competitive and co-operative options, too, with sub-variants on top of it all. You puzzle out how you have to push blocks around to access the keys, switches, teleporters, etc., you need to access the exit. It’s great fun for a dollar.
Here’s what the publisher (Battenberg Software) has to say about the game:
“Micromazes is an 8-bit retro style puzzle game which can be played single player or two-player co-op (challenge mode), or two-, three- or four-player versus (race mode). Levels are randomly generated so no two games are ever the same. To complete the 50 challenge levels you’ll have to make use of keys, doors, blocks, targets, teleports, switches and lots lots more!”
