An adventure game with a great 8-bit/chiptune presentation and an old school feel, “Slay Those Pixels” is a fun (if brief) adventure romp with some RPG-ish levelling up/upgrading. It may only take a couple of hours to complete, including a bit of backtracking to re-fight through some previously-beaten rooms to boost your upgrades a little further, but it’s a fun ride for a dollar while it lasts.
