Ska Studios has brought us “ZSX4 Guitarpocalypse”, “I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1”, “ZP2K9”, “ZP2KX: Zombies & Pterodactyls!”, and Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) games “The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai”, “Charlie Murder, and “The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile”.
Now let’s add “TIME VIKING!!!!!ANDSPACERAPTOR” to the XBLIG list. Taking a page out of “I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1”‘s book, half the fun is listening to the crazy song, and the game ends when the song is over.
You play a character standing on a pile of dead enemy bodies. You move left and right and shoot like crazy. Dead bodies drop down as you play, to an every growing pillar of corpses. It’s based around pick-up-and-play game mechanics with an emphasis on co-op play. It’s a typically awesome dollar worth spending from Ska.
Here’s what the publisher (Ska Studios) has to say about the game:
“This controversial long lost research project conducted by Ska Studios and Neurologische Entwicklung GmbH is available now on XBLIG! The subject of heavy criticism from ethicists and pragmatists alike, Viking’s “Adaptive Neurothreading” technology allows for unprecedented aura connectivity, but at what cost?”
